You are warmly welcomed to our holiday apartments, we want it to feel like ‘Home from Home’ for you, and it will make us happy if you choose to stay with us for your holiday. Our hope is you will have an enjoyable, relaxing getaway with the best experience possible.

Wendon is an impressive period house elegantly converted into spacious apartments, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Our location is just superb any time of year.

We love the views and being so close to the sea, and imagine you will feel the same way.

Wendon is a well-located and homely seafront self-catering holiday destination, a stone’s throw from the beach.
We offer 5 generously sized and comfortable apartments, set over 3 floors. Sleeping from 3 to 8 people, these apartments can be booked individually or multiple apartments booked at once; a great setting for your next group trip to the North Wales coastline.
Once up the 5 stone steps at the front of our period property, via the grand communal entrance, you will find the two ground floor apartments - Pebbles to your left and Sands to your right, both sleeping 3 guests; ascending the period staircase you'll find the 1st floor apartments - Shells on the left, sleeping 3 guests, and Waves on the right, sleeping 4-6 guests Waves has an additional sitting room with a full size double sofa bed, and french doors leading out onto the private balcony.; continue upstairs to the spacious 2nd-floor apartment Seaview, sleeping up to 8 guests, with 2 bathrooms.

We are located in the historic village of Dinas Dinlle, which is the perfect base for walking, enjoying the beach, and exploring the local area or further afield to the historic town of Caernarfon, the Snowdonia National Park, and beyond!
The village offers cafes, a restaurant, beachside shops, the ancient Hillfort ruin, Caernarfon Airport, Airworld Aviation Museum, miles of pebbled and sandy beaches, and lovely walks.

We understand that your dogs are part of your family, therefore we welcome pets, with no additional fee for bringing them on holiday with you!

Parking: Private off road parking for 1 car per apartment awaits you at the front of the property, with additional parking in the free car park across the road near the beach.

Shed: There is also storage for bikes or surfing equipment, which is handy for any water sports enthusiast or cyclist. The property is so close to the sea and sits on a national cycle route.

We are a ‘No Smoking’ building, but have a secure communal garden for guest use.

Dinas Dinlle is a great coastal resort for family fun or water sports lovers, as well as being an interesting historical delight with its Iron Age Hill Fort and Roman ruins in a National Trust area, located just by the sea. We have been described as a hidden gem!
It is a wonderful place to bring your dogs, who are part of your family, and can enjoy your holiday with you.
Our coastal-side apartments are the perfect base for exploring the a long pebbled and sandy beach, visiting the local places of interest or further afield to the historic and bustling town of Caernarfon just a short drive away, boasting the magnificent 13th Century castle and Waterside Doc Fictoria Art complex . It is a popular tourist spot with well preserved town walls, also a golf course and an abundance of restaurants, takeaways and independent shops,

This rural area is perfect for a family or group holiday at the seaside; it is a stunning part of North Wales with beautiful walks, and is ideal for watersports and having adventures in Snowdonia National Park.
​
Hillfort is owned by the National Trust, and whilst not much is known about the monument there are still chances to find Roman coins there, with it also being a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its position on glacial drift sediments. Recent work has been done on the ruins to expose them more.
​
Pop into The Surfer Chippy for a bag of chips and sit on the beach watching the waves splash in and out. Just a stone's throw away from the apartment is Bryn Mor Beach Hotel which offers food and drink in a casual setting; Beachcomber Shop, Coffee Shop and Off Licence, which also sells some of the essentials you'll need during your stay and of course the extras, such as surfboards, beach balls and ice cream, and a gift shop to treat those loved ones back home.

Wendon is just over a mile from Caernarfon airport, enjoy a Helicopter Pleasure Flight around North Wales and its coast line, from £69 per person , definitely one to remember.

The locals have rallied round in support of their local pub just 2 miles away in Tyn Llan, which serves tasty fresh food and family favourites.
Nearby is the quaint village of Llandwrog and Glynllifon Country Park, steeped in history it is home to Grade I listed gardens and boasts Victorian follies, streams, fountains, wonderful tree trails, craft shops and The Glynllifon Mansion - making it the winner of a Green Flag award and described as one of Wales' best kept secrets.

Take a ride on a Welsh Highland Railway steam train or Head to Llanberis and up Snowdon Mountain Railway, travelling three quarters of the way up the iconic Mount Snowdon with breathe taking views across the Snowdonia National Park and coast as you climb to new heights.
Electric Mountain or Greenwood Forest Park, just a few of the nearby attractions; or go sea fishing, wildlife watching from a boat, or discover the myriad of cycle paths and footpaths across majestic Snowdonia National Park and Wales Coastal Path, which makes for great mountain walking, cycling, picturesque views and is a truly worthy day out for all to enjoy.

Visit Porthmadog and the Osprey centre, run by volunteers. It watches over this rare species where Mrs G and her mate Aran have returned each year for 12 years to raise their young.
​
Fron Goch is a garden centre just 3 miles away and voted the best in Wales serving excellent food from afternoon tea to a fabulous Sunday lunch, it is well worth a visit.
